There are a few different titles associated with Front-end web development including: Project Manager, User Experience, Web Designer, Front-end developer, Quality Assurance and Content Manager/Editor. I will be taking a deeper look at Project Management as I find that interesting.
Project management focuses on planning and organizing a project and its resources. This includes identifying and managing the lifecycle to be used, applying it to the user-centered design process, formulating the project team, and efficiently guiding the team through all phases until project completion.
A good project manager can assure that the purpose/vision and goals of the project are maintained, all while supporting the audiences’ tasks and objectives. It also involves a good amount of people managing. I believe I would be good at this because I have great organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. I am also goal-driven and realize that a good plan will help accomplish goals and meet deadlines.

Gold Stars:
- Creative agency or production house experience
I don’t have 3-5 years of project management experience so to be able to get my foot in the door, I would need to get some. The best way to do this would be to get a UI/UX design job at an entry-level position in a small company. Once there, I would build a relationship with the other departments and get a great overview about what they do and what they need to do it well. From there, I would ask to be given the opportunity to take lead on a project and work closely with the owner or my immediate supervisor to ensure I have all the components to deliver on time.
