TED Ideas Worth Spreading

Resource – a stock or supply of money, materials, staff, and other assets that can be drawn on by a person or organization in order to function effectively.

Today, I will share 3 of my favorite resource sites.

Mockplus

Mockplus – a desktop-based tool for prototyping mobile, web and desktop apps easily and quickly. Create interactions by simple drag-and-drop and your teamwork will be time-efficient with the collaboration features. It is a great resource for UX/UI designers offering articles as well as free UI kits and templates like these WordPress Sports themes that can be used to build your prototype. This really reduces the work of designing from scratch and inspires new ideas.

Nielsen Norman Group

NN Group – NN/g conducts groundbreaking research, evaluates user interfaces, and reports real findings – not just what’s popular or expected. With our approach, NN/g will help you create better user experiences and improve the bottom line for your business. Most of the reports they offer cost a pretty penny but they offer free reports and articles that help in bridging the gap between what designers intend and what users want from a website.

TED Ideas Worth Spreading

TED – a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). With TED you have access to talks from everywhere in the world wherever you are in the world. These talks cover many topics including UX designs like this talk from Don Norman who is the co-founder of Nielsen Norman Group which provides evidence-based user experience research, training, and consulting. TED currently has 232 talks and 22 playlists discussing tech as well as other talks that help with studying or learning something new.
